Sam Price
Director of Funds Management
Mr. Price heads the funds management team at GFP. In this capacity, Sam has lead fund management responsibilities for the firm's commingled private equity timberfunds and separate account clients. He also assists the research and analysis group in forest modeling and financial analysis. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Price held a number of senior roles with GreenWood Resources. Most recently, he served as Director of Resource Operations with responsibilities over forest information, analysis and planning teams. Prior to that role, Mr. Price was an Acquisitions Manager responsible for deal negotiations and due diligence. Previously, he worked as a Forester for Long View Forest Contracting in Vermont and began his career in the forestry sector with International Forestry Investment Advisors. Mr. Price holds a B. Eng. in Agricultural Engineering from McGill University, and an MF in Forestry from Yale University.
